Block paved driveway in Deer park Ledbury. This project involved breaking up the old concrete drive and also widening it at the same time to provide extra parking space. Once the concrete had been broken up and removed along with the soil from the widened area,a layer of sub base is compacted. Next concrete kerb edgeing is concreted in place along with two new ressed inspection covers . Then the remaining sub base is added and compacted. Next the screening sand is compacted and screened to the correct levels and falls and the paviors laid. Stonemarkets forest blend with a charcoal border in a 45 degree herringbone patern. Finally all the cuts are made and kiln dried sand sweeped into the jionts and vibrated in using a compactor plate fitted with a rubber mat . Drive now ready to use.
