This delightful rural property with its mature garden in Redmarley Gloucestershire was in need of a revamp of the old patio area . This required the original old stone patio being taken up and the area widened for a larger new patio area. Once all the area had been excavated a layer of sub base was compacted to give a sound base for the new patio. Next two new ressed inspection covers were fitted and a concrete footing layed for a small wall to hold back the higher lawned area. Next the patio was layed using an grey Indian sandstone slab in a 5 size project sizes,these were laid on a wet mortar bed. Once set in place the patio was pointed using a grey resin based mortar. Finally the new retaining wall and a new step were built and the soil placed around the edges ready for seeding.
