Two projects involving resin bond and resin bound surfaces.
The first project involved two old slabbed patio areas that had become old and worn and could not be rejuvenated through cleaning. Both areas were structuly sound ,once cleaned the areas were levelled using a self levelling compound to the correct levels and falls .
Next the surface was primed with a concrete primer to achieve a good bond with the resin bound surface . Next the resin parts A and B are mixed together and then added to the chosen aggregates and mixed together for a specific time before being spread evenly onto thr prepared surface. This is then trowelled on at the required depth to provide a stunning smooth finish.
The surface can be left as it is or a scattering of fine crushed glass can be applied to provide a more non slip surface.

The second project involved resurfacing a area of old concrete paths around a property that we had last year installed a large patio area and small walls around the property. The resin bond souface was the finishing touch.
First a coating of void filler is applied to the concrete to fill in any areas that are uneven to leave a uniform finish so an even coat of resin can be applied .
Once the void filler has completly dried the two part resin is mixed together and then applied to the surface using a serrated squeege and allowed to briefly level before the choosen aggregate is scattered on to the resin. Once completly dried any excess aggregate is swept off to leave a transformed area totally enhancing the area around the property .
