This is a tarmac driveway we completed in Pauntley. Granite silver grey setts have been set on a concrete bed to create a distinctive edge to compliment this stunning property. The whole area was then resurfaced, consisting of 45mm of 20mm base binder, finished with a 35 mm compacted layer of 45/10 hra waring course. The whole area to be resurfaced totalled in excess of 600sq meters which was machine laid by barber green which enabled the project to be completed in one day. The hot rolled asphalt waring course was used to give a extremely hard waring surface to cope with modern vehicles using power steering,which are the main causes of ware in Tarmac surfaces .
