This project involved removing the old tarmac driveway and concrete area used to park the caravan on . Once this was completed the driveway was widened along with the caravan parking area . Next a new kerb edging was concreted in place followed by a 150mm layer of sub base compacted thoroughly.
Next a layer of screening sand is compacted and screened to correct levels ready for the laying of the paviors.
Marshals savanna paviors were laid using a traditional colour as the main drive with a pennant grey edging. Once laid the cuts are completed and kiln dried sand swept in and finally the
paviors are compacted using a wacker plate fitted with a rubber matt .
To complete the project the caravan parking area is graveled using 20mm forest of dean chippings and the edges top soiled ready for seeding .
