Here we had a small rear garden area of a recently built property on a new development in Ledbury . The area left by the builders was attractively paved but the lawned area suffered from poor drainage thus the lawn struggled to establish it self. Due to the area being small and a sun trap during the day it was decided to carry on the hard landscape. First the whole area was excavated and a layer of sub base compacted before extending the existing paving in areas to make the existing paths more subtle. The area was then edged in a charcoal pavior before two Marshalls sun circle paving features were added which combined the colours of the existing paving and the new charcoal edgeing. To aid drainage the remaining area was infilled with 20mm Forest of Dean chippings to complete the project.
