This project involved a major excavation of soil to provide a level area to create a new parking area . Over 150 tons of soil were excavated from the site and taken away to tip. Substantial concrete footings and walls were constructed to provide support for the surrounding areas, the walls were designed to incorporate a series of flower beds to break up the large expanse of brickwork. New curved steps were built in matching brickwork to provide access to the front entrance to the house. The parking area was finished in a Forest of Dean chipping held in place by plastic grid system that eliminates any movement of the chippings on to the surrounding areas. Finally a new vehicle crossing was constructed to provide access to the parking area . All construction of the walls and driveway were carried out by Dave Conway building of Ledbury. Excavations and vehicle crossing were done by Pave Your Way of Ledbury .
