This project involved new driveway, new paths and new pedestrian and driveway gates being fitted. First the old concrete paths and drive were broken up and removed along with the old gates and any additional excavation work carried out. Next the sub base was laid and compacted and the edging concreted in place along with the new gates. Finally the paths were paved using marshals tegula paviors in the traditional colour, these were also used to edge the new driveway. A 20mm Forest of Dean chipping was used to finish of the driveway which due to its size and shape will stay inplace very well under constant trafficking. Finally to finish the driveway of the entrance was kerbed and tarmaced to complete the project.
