New gravel driveway and Tarmac entrance to new barn conversion at Lowbands Gloucestershire. Now finished the property was now in need of the drive and entrance being completed. First the old concrete drive was broken up and taken away for recycling before a layer of crushed concrete is compacted . Next the gravelled area is edged in a blue solid engineering brick layed on concrete and a layer of sub base compacted to the correct levels before a 2 inch layer of Forest of Dean chippings is laid. Next the entrance is kerbed and a layer of sub base compacted prior to the Tarmac being laid . Due to major work in the entrance we also fitted new gate posts along with new posts and rails at the sides ready for the fitting of the new entrance gates.
