The original driveway consisted of a concrete drive that had been not very successfully tarmaced over the top. Due to the poor state of the concrete and existing levels it required a new driveway to be constructed. First the old concrete was broken up and removed along with any required excavations. Next new kerbs were concreted in place and a layer of MOT type one compacted to the required levels. Finally the finished Tarmac surface was laid consisting of a base layer topped of with an HRA surface course to complete a smart and durable new drive .
