Once again an old concrete driveway had become unsightly and in need of widening. Once the old concrete had been broken up and removed along with any other excavations,new edgeing kerbs are concreted in place along with a line of drainage channels in front of the garage. Next the sub base layer is compacted followed by a screened layer of sharpe sand. Finally the paviors are laid and cut prior to kiln dried sand is swept into the joints . Marshalls tegula paviors were chosen in the traditional colour with a brindle key block as an inset.
