The aim of this project involved a complete make over for the front and rear of the property. The front of the property needed the drive to be widened with new wider steps leading to the front door and the new path leading to the gate leading to the back garden area. The old concrete drive was broken up and removed before the area was widened to allow for more space to get in and out of the family car on both sides without stepping on to the a joining garden . The concrete being replaced with a new block paved drive including a new drainage channel in front of the garage doors. The steps and new path were constructed in Indian sandstone. The rear of the property needed new walls and steps to the ageing raised patio area which also required a new wall to be built at one end to give privacy to the completed patio from the surrounding houses. The remaining lawned area which sloped down to the neighbours required levelling and then turfing along with a new lower patio area and steps to be built to give access to the rear gate and new path at the side of the house that links the front and rear of the house together. The patios were constructed using indian sandstone in a 5 sized project pack to give a fresh and durable area to enjoy the coming summer months.
