Recently completed patio in Ledbury Herefordshire. First the old sandstone slabs are removed then the area is excavated to the correct depth before a new sub base of type 3 is laid and compacted.
Next the edging blocks are concreted in place and new recessed inspection covers fitted. Next a 6-4 mm grit is laid and screened to correct levels.
Marshals tegula priora are chosen by the customer in a 3 size pattern in the colour autumn. These are then laid and cut before the final compaction of the paving, a fine grit is swept into all the joints to provide a complete porous patio. Two planters and a water feature are added to complete the project.
