Bromsberrow village hall in Gloucestershire.
Over the years the village hall had added an extension to the building to cope with the growing demand for the hall, including the local school for its plays and shows, various camping events on the outdoor area and all local events.
Due to various donations and some great fundraising from members of the village hall community the outside area was to receive a total revamp to cope with its growing demand.
The original area consisted of old uneven concrete slabs, different levels and an old wall and steps that were in a decaying condition. First the whole area was removed and extended to give a flat and large new area for entertainment. A new porous sub base was laid and edged with a concrete kerb to retain the new area. Next a porous layer of tarmac laid and compacted to the correct level. The first stage of the resin bound surface required fixing aluminium trims to create a boarder for a darker resin bound surface, before laying the final resin bound surface creating a stunning new out door entertainment area for years to come.
