This was a property we had previously carried out work ,involving creating a new patio area at the rear of the property after a large extension had been completed in 2016. Due to the high quality of our previous work the customer asked us to carry out the final stage of the building work by completing the front driveway and paths leading up to the front entrances, along with a new fenced area for storage.
First of all the old tarmac surface was removed along with the old concrete slabbed paths. Next the new areas for the paths and extended driveway are excavated along with the new storage area before a layer of hardcore is compacted ready for the paviors to be concreted in place to create the edging for the new areas.
Next the new paths are block paved leading from the driveway to the front doors, before a new section of fencing and gates are erected to form a secure storage area. Finally the new driveway area is gravelled using 20mm Forest of Dean chippings to complete the project.
