New sewer connection Bosbury church, Herefordshire.

Bosbury church had in recent months fitted an internal toilet for events held in and around the church and visitors alike.
The underground pipe work had been laid to the boundary of the church path by there contractor and was know ready to be connected to the mains sewer in the road.
Pave your way ltd was chosen to carry out this project due to its competitive rate and experience in this work and holding all relevant qualifications.
Once the section 50 license and approved method of connection had been approved the work was able to go ahead. Traffic lights were required due to the main sewer being located in the road. These were setup by our chosen contractor Aplant.
First the main sewer pipe was located in the road then a trench excavated back to the boundary manhole located in the church path close to the main gate. The connection required a new T being fitted into the main sewer pipe and then a new pipe being laid back to the manhole on a pea gravel bed. Once the connection was approved by the Severn Trent inspector the remaining pea gravel covering the pipe work was installed and the trench back filled in layers ready for reinstatement.
Finally the trench and road are tarmaced to council specifications and traffic lights removed to complete the project on the required time scale.
